Fit ball is the leading sports quality brand of exercise ball often known as a Swiss Ball.

Fit balls are ideal accessories for a range of stretching, toning, weight training and core stability exercises. They are also used by physiotherapists for rehabilitation and back care. Many people with back problems use them in place of a chair. Included with your fit ball is a simple booklet giving a number of examples of exercises on the ball. The ball does not come with a pump; an airbed pump or similar high volume air source is necessary to inflate your ball (bike and car pumps are not satisfactory.

Fit balls are available in three sizes. To determine the correct ball size you will need to measure the distance between the sole of your shoe (in cm) and your knee joint (in cm) and add 3 cm (to account for the depression of the ball when you sit on it). Choose the next biggest size.
